I miss his smile… I miss his laughter… I miss his unwavering support.
I miss his love… I miss his heart.
Cancer, you took his body.
Cancer, you took his voice.
Cancer, you took his hope…
But you never took his soul.
Now you have taken his life…
You have stolen him from us.
You’re a demon that fed off of our misery.
A succubus that fed off of his body….
But you never took his soul.
You took everything he loved from him…
You took his very breath.
You took him from me…
But you can’t have my memories
You can’t have his smile.
I can still see it so clearly
You can’t have his love.
I still feel it every day.
You can’t have his memory.
That is mine to keep.
You can’t take that from me.
Try as you may, you may think you have won, dear Cancer, but you are sadly mistaken.
You may have won the battle, but he won the war.
You may have taken his future on earth, but the past is ours to keep.
He still lives with us every day, and you can’t take that away.
You’ll never see me hold his hand again, but I close my eyes, and I still am.
As I drift off to sleep, he visits me in my dreams, and you don’t have him anymore.
You lost this one, Cancer. You can’t have him anymore.
You can’t hurt him anymore.
You can’t have him anymore.
He is ours now, and you have no control over that.
So, f*ck you, Cancer. You don’t have us anymore.
